We assist clients throughout Whangārei, Northland and New Zealand with a wide range of subdivision projects. Every subdivision is different and often involves co-ordination between surveyors, councils, lenders, electricity suppliers and property owners. Our role is to guide the legal process, identify potential issues early, and help keep your project moving.

Most subdivision projects begin with a surveyor obtaining resource consent and preparing the LT Plan. Once those steps are underway, we work alongside your surveyor to complete the legal requirements needed to create your new titles.

Fees

Because every subdivision is different, we cannot provide a fee estiate without reviewing the resource consent and LT Plan.

As a guide, legal fees for many 2-6 lot straightforward subdivisions fall between $6,000 and $12,000 plus GST and disbursements, although more complex projects may fall outside this range.

Once we have reviewed the subdivision documentation, we can provide a tailored estimate for your project.

All subdivision instructions require a retainer payment at the time of engagement.
