We are looking for an experienced lawyer for our modern Whangarei office.

Our friendly team works across a full range of general matters including commercial law, conveyancing, rural, subdivisions, relationship property, wills, estate administration, and asset planning.

General Practice Lawyer (Graduate)

We are looking to invest in a graduate lawyer for our modern Whangarei office.

Our friendly team works across a full range of general practice matters including commercial law, conveyancing, rural / agri-business, subdivisions; relationship property, estate administration, and asset planning (including trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney).

This early stage of your career will be well rounded with a progressive range of legal work to help broaden your knowledge and determine which areas you are suited to and enjoy.  In addition, learning law office systems and experiencing all the roles in a firm from the ground up will give you a strong background to later work effectively as a senior team member.

You’ll need to have:

  • good academics
  • a thirst for knowledge
  • attention to detail

We are experienced in training graduate lawyers and have a tried and tested graduate training plan.  You will benefit from our project management systems and senior lawyers who are committed to your development.

We offer our graduate lawyers a starting salary of $48,000 per annum with a retention bonus scheme of $10,000 per year, for the first three years. This effectively puts you on $58,000 for the first year!

Registered Legal Executive

Are you a super star Registered Legal Executive with experience in conveyancing, wills, enduring powers of attorney and estate administration?

We are a general practice law firm who would value someone with your expertise to assist our long standing loyal clients and our rapidly expanding new client base.

You’ll need to have:

  • a strong sense of professional responsibility

You’ll get a flow of quality work with plenty of client contact and the opportunity to improve your skills and develop as a general practice legal executive.

We are building a supportive and collaborative team and pride ourselves on being down to earth whilst providing a quality service to our clients.

You can expect a starting salary of between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on your experience and ability.

You will also enjoy attending the biennial New Zealand Law Society Legal Executives Conference – all expenses paid.
